Frat Builds:
In addition to the musical performances and chili cook-off, Chilifest 2024 also showcased the creativity and skillfulness of the participating fraternities through their impressive "frat builds." These elaborate structures, ranging from towering stages to themed pavilions, served as gathering points for attendees and added an extra layer of fun to the event. Each fraternity poured countless hours into designing and constructing their builds, infusing them with unique themes and eye-catching decorations such as Sigma Chi’s boat-like structure. From Greek letter displays to intricate murals, the frat builds are a testament to the creativity and dedication of the Texas A&M University community.

Chili Cook-Off:
Of course, no Chilifest would be complete without the main event: the chili cook-off. Teams from across the region brought their A-game, showcasing their culinary skills and secret recipes in hopes of earning the title of Chilifest Champion as well as up to $1000 in cash prizes! Attendees sampled an array of chili varieties, from traditional Texas-style to inventive twists featuring exotic ingredients.
In conclusion, Chilifest 2024 proved to be another success, blending the best of Texas traditions with a lineup of musical talent that left a lasting impression. The festival was very well organized this year and we can’t wait for Chilifest 2025!
